One of those days.

I was planning on updating you all today about what I’ve been doing lately, because I realized that I wrote a lot about Dan in yesterday’s post. Except I am exhausted. Today was one of those days where I was constantly going from one thing to the next, without a lot of time to sit down in my office in between. As a result, I’m writing emails and catching up at a ridiculous hour of the night.

Truly though, I’m not sure how much of an update I really have to write. I realized that lately, when people ask me ‘What’s new with you?’ I don’t have anything ‘new’ to report. Nothing overly notable, I’ve ‘just’ been working hard – with my job and my positions in professional organizations. And also schlepping my life between two campuses.

I can say that work is getting more and more busy by the week – spring semester is always a frantic rush to the finish, from the first week until the end of classes. I can’t really put my finger on why exactly it feels so different from fall semester, but it does. Happily though, we’re only 2.5 weeks away from spring break, which will provide a lovely bit of stress relief for everyone. And the following week, I will be on the East Coast, hopefully seeing YOU. Excitement!

That’s all I have in me for tonight. But I will definitely try to hit some of the highlights of our past few months in the next few days.
